Intents

What is an Intent

An intent is the purpose of a message or ticket sent from a customer. Y Meadows AI reads the message and derives the intent or point of the message.

At their core, intents in Y Meadows are essentially use case categories. Users train the AI models on specific intent categories which allow the AI to read messages and understand what category of message they fall under. For example, if a service team has a high volume of change password requests, they would create an intent for that use case. Once the model has been trained, it should be able to accurately categorize messages with "change password" intents even when keywords or sentence structures are completely different.
